Apart from university visits, we also visited several retail stores and retail chains, including Lidl, Tesco, Aldi, ASDA, Sainsbury’s, and Marks & Spencer, to observe consumer behaviour in real retail settings. These visits helped connect the survey responses with practical retail experiences and technology-supported shopping environments.
Overall, the visit was academically productive and useful for collecting data from diverse
academic and retail contexts. The collected data will support the empirical analysis of my
research on augmented and virtual reality, retailing, and consumer behaviour.
